With an aim to create trained and skilled engineers capable of solving societal and industrial problems the department of Electronics and Tele-Communication Engineering was formed during the college’s inception in the year 2013. There is one undergraduate programme offered by the department (B.E. in E&TC). The department has excellent infrastructure, including well-equipped laboratories and up-to-date software. The department’s skilled and experienced faculty uses project-based learning as well as modern teaching and evaluation technologies to impart information to students in the basic and practical parts of Electronics and Telecommunication courses.
The department’s curriculum is based on the Mumbai University curriculum, and it offers to take one Department level subject and one institute level subjects, such as Computer Organization and Architecture, Database Management, Internet of Things (IOT) and Industry 4.0, Network Management in Telecommunications, and Satellite Communication and Research Methodology, Environmental management, Project management. We also encourage students to use the SWAYAM/NPTEL portal to attend online courses.
Department also provides international exposure through Vishwa Niketan’s International Internship Program. Students are motivated to participate in various project competitions such as Avishkar. Department motivates student to be a member of professional chapters, IETE Student Forum (ISF) and technical activities are conducted through ISF.
